New Day, New Week

This weekend I decided not to post for a few reasons but I'm back and ready to blog. I'm usually not a fan of Mondays but this one is going quickly and is the beginning of the end of the semester (plus there was free cake). Kagun is wrapping up his finals, students are getting ready to leave for the Holiday Break, and I'm getting ready for my Birthday and Christmas.

This weekends project was Salt Dough Ornaments and Gift tags. I'm still in the process of making them but I will post pictures on the Crafts and Projects Page when they are completed. It was a lot of fun to come up with ideas and to make some very unique items for out tree and for gift tags for presents. I think the gift tags are the most fun because then not only does the person get the gift but they get an ornament for their tree for next year.

I've seen a lot of Salt Dough Recipes so I'll post the one I use with the craft once I have everything photographed and painted.
