Happy New Year

A new year and time to get back to work and blogging. Today is my first day back at work which means I can get back to a normal schedule and normal blogging. I loved my time off and still wish I could spend more time with Charlotte. Christmas was wonderful and I loved all the time at home with Kagun and Charlotte. I still have to post pictures but I'll get to that some time this week most likely. This year, I'm not making resolutions because in the past they usually don't happen anyway so I figure I'll just go with what the year brings. My only hope for 2013 is to spend more time as a family so that should be easy enough to fulfill. In the past I've done the norms as it comes to resolutions..weight loss, organization, etc but I'd rather focus on my family and let the rest figure itself out.

Yesterday, I started the year out right by doing some grocery shopping with the family and making enough baby foods for Charlotte to last a couple of months. We made it a family affair and brought Charlotte into the kitchen with Kagun and I and we made purees to freeze. We made butternut squash, avocado, banana, apple, and pear. Charlotte then tried Apple for the first time and absolutely loved it. I used recipes and directions from this site. I plan to get more adventurous once Charlotte has tried things and start putting together my own recipes which I'll share on my blog but for now, I feel safest using this wonderful website to help me figure out how to prepare delicious, healthy, homemade food for my little one.

I will also be posting more uses for left over formula containers soon as I have started putting them to use in various areas around the house.

Until tomorrow...Have a wonderful day!
