Since I've Been Gone

A little catch up from the last week. Charlie is very active and is pulling up on everything and crawling all over the place. She gets cuter by the day (see picture below) and she's becoming such a little person with attitude.

Father's Day was last weekend and Charlie and I created a cute project for Kagun. You can find the full details on the Crafts and projects page but here's a picture of the finished project:

Work is getting busier and I'm still working on getting over being sick but other than that things are good. We are behind on the house progress I had wanted to make but we are getting back to it. The living room is finally prepped and ready for the decorations and to bring in the remaining boxes that go in the entertainment center. The plan is still to have the house complete by Charlie's birthday party in August but with only a month left that's hard to imagine. It may end up being that we clean out the inside of the house, bring in the decorations and set up the house, but leave the remaining boxes in the garage for after the party is over.

Speaking of the party, we have decided to change themes from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Pretty in Pink. It just wasn't practical this year to really do the theme justice so we're just going with simple and inexpensive. I will definitely be blogging about party things in the future.
