Catching up

A lot has been happening at work and at home. We've been doing a lot and yet not much. So since it's been a long time since I've updated this will probably be a long blog post. Going back to the start of September. Labor Day, we were both home so we had a family day with Charlie and went to a local zoo.

Me!

My Loves!
We had a great day walking around the zoo and Charlie loved pointing at the animals. We also saw a bit too much nature from a couple of the animals so we walked a little faster past them.

The next thing to talk about is I am getting prepped for Halloween. I think I've mentioned that Charlie is going to be Tinkerbell, Kagun will be Peter Pan, and I'll be Wendy. Now that she is a bit older, she's going to Trick or Treat at some of our neighbors houses where we know the people a bit better so I made her a basket for her candy. I will include a How-To in my Crafts and Projects Page.

I was very happy with how it turned out!

9.10 was Kagun and I's 2nd Wedding Anniversary. I got him a computer game that he wanted and he let me get NHL Center Ice as well as spoiling me with Flowers, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, and a cake from the people that did our wedding cake!

We spent the day at work and clinicals but once I got off work, I picked up Charlie and we headed to Oklahoma to surprise Kagun at his clinical site. He got to show us around and then it was time for him to go home for the day so we headed back home. All day I had wanted us to be together for our official anniversary which is 7:21pm and we were together in a way but in separate cars. So when I saw an exit, I dove for it and Kagun followed. We parked in a parking lot, cars still running and I jumped in his car and kissed him at 7:21 and we had just barely gotten back into Texas. It was Perfect! It was only made better by realizing that this super sweet, romantic moment was happening in an X rated video store parking lot. It made us both laugh! We then got back on the road and headed closer to home where we stopped to have Dinner and buy some new monkey toys for Charlie who wasn't entirely thrilled with being up past her bed time. After dinner, we went home, got Charlie to bed, and then went to bed ourselves. All in all it was a GREAT anniversary!

Last night was Kagun's Family Picnic for work. They had it in the Hospital parking lot and there was food, a petting zoo, bounce houses, and pony rides. Charlie liked looking at the animals and eating, but she wasn't so thrilled with the pony ride.

So she's probably not going to be a cowgirl and barrel race but oh well we can still hope she'll chase pigs (this comes from my mother, not me). Personally, I'm still holding out for her to be a dancer!

Our lives have been crazy but it's ours and we love it! Every day with our darling daughter is worth all the hard work and effort. The other exciting thing is she has a tooth/teeth finally coming in!!! Bottom front are making their way through and you can feel the little part poking through her gums! It's incredible!

In upcoming news, I'll be going to Salt Lake City for a work Conference in a couple of weeks and I've nervous and excited for that. I'm also looking at getting a new tattoo! Oh and Hockey is about to start up!! Let's get ready for Fall! I'm so ready for all that is ahead! Hope you are too!
