Parental Gain

I came across this quote on Pinterest and I pinned it immediately. I think it's so true! Of course everyone could probably easily list the things that were given up to be a mother. However, it's the things we gain from our children that matter most. I know that Kagun and I can't picture our lives any other way. As difficult as it can be, it's the best thing we've ever done. We've gained so much happiness and laughter in our home! Oddly, we also both have changed personalities a bit. I've always been Type A, and I still am, but I am relatively relaxed when it comes to parenting. Kagun has never really been a Type A personality but seemed to gain some of those traits when we had kids. As much as we change and evolve, we still balance each other out which makes us better parents. I don't know what will happen in the future as far as more children but I know that the two we have are nothing but blessings in our lives!
